From the moment you walk in the place,its home.
A hearty welcome from Ian set the tone for a really great stay.
Our room was lovely,with plenty of room for clothes,fridge with ironing facilities if needed.
Shower room is sparkling clean with high quality units.
As mentioned elsewhere,breakfasts are super with chef Ian providing the best ‘all English’ in town.
Drinks are provided in your room and an honesty system in place where a bottle of wine,beer or soft drinks available in the rest room .
The Glencree is a five minute walk to Windermere and 10 minute to Bowness.
I highly recommend you to stay in the Glencree, you will not regret it.
